How we evaluate accuracy
We use a systematic evaluation framework with a thorough suite of test cases across diverse SEND personas, custom graders for rights-referencing and citation accuracy, and adversarial red-team tests for safety. Evaluation results are reviewed regularly and used to improve the system prompt and knowledge base.

Accessibility
What we test
- •Automated WCAG 2.2 AA scans on all public routes using axe-core
- •Colour contrast verification against AA thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- •Keyboard navigation testing (tab order, focus indicators)
- •Form label and ARIA attribute validation
- •Reduced motion support for users who prefer less animation
What we acknowledge
- ⚠Automated testing tools typically catch 30-40% of accessibility issues
- ⚠We supplement automated scans with manual testing but do not yet have an independent audit
- ⚠Screen reader testing is performed with VoiceOver (macOS) but not yet across all assistive technologies
